Our dear friend Piers is remembered in several obituaries in the national and local press which you may have read by now. They all speak of him as a good, kind, gentle man, an extremely talented broadcaster, writer and painter. He is a great loss to us at St Mary’s but what an honour and delight it was to have him with us for as a long as we did.
